This concurs with Plakas, Loveland, Bailey, Blazer & Wilson (1991), who demonstrated that AFB 1 and its metabolites were rapidly eliminated from the tissues of channel catfish. They concluded that the potential for the accumulation of AFB 1 residues in the edible flesh of channel catfish through the consumption of AFB 1 ‐contaminated feed was very low.…”
