“…Although the need for national legislation on biobanking as a driving force of precision medicine development has been actively discussed by Ukrainian lawyers for the last few years, there are still no approved National regulations on biobanking. Many countries in the developing world including Arabian and Latin American countries, Africa and Eastern Europe/Central Asian countries/former Soviet republics lack national policies and governance infrastructure for biobanking 27 even though these activities are ongoing.
