Abstract: Leguminosae includes six subfamilies, where the traditionally recognised subfamily Mimosoideae was accepted as a distinct clade included within the recircumscribed subfamily Caesalpinioideae, called informally as Mimosoid clade. The representatives of the tribes Acacieae and Ingeae can be differentiated principally in terms of the patterns of their stamens, being free in Acacieae and monadelphous in Ingeae.
