Gill (1932) and Gregson and La Touche (1961) indicated that otomycosis was of considerable importance, a view not shared by Way (1955) ; Haley (1950) using Aspergillus niger experimentally, suggested that the condition might be a sensitivity reaction. It seemed doubtful that fungi were the prime invaders in this series, but maintained the condition once established.…”
