Clinical Features and Surgical Outcomes of Scleral Buckle Surgery for Primary Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachment

“…Primary reattachment was achieved in 83.7% (493/ 589 cases) (95% confidence interval [CI] 80.4% and 86.5%); 84.8% (379/447 cases) (95% CI 81.0% and 87.9%) for round holes; and 81.2% (108/133 cases) (95% CI 73.3% and 87.2%) for dialysis. The median follow-up time was 6 months (interquartile range [3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22] with a range of 2-236 months. There were only two patients with pseudophakia treated with SB in this series.…”
