The role of two dimensional speckle -tracking echocardiography in a patient with Behçet's disease

Abstract: stenosis, mild mitral regurgitation, MVA was calculated as 1.2 cm 2 with planimetry and 1.35 cm 2 with Doppler. The maximum and mean gradients across the mitral valve were 19 and 11 mmHg respectively. TEE revealed a thrombus at LAA base, not protruding into LA and measured as 1.2x1.5 cm.
