Abstract: This article reviews evolution of the concept of cultural intelligence, the relevance of which is substantiated by the complexity of cross-cultural relations in modern globalizing world. It is underlined that the development of such information technologies as the Internet, television, and mobile communication leads to conveyance of cultural patterns are transmitted from one country to another.
