This study examines the challenges faced by speaking examiners in assessing students' speaking performance conducted virtually. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to speaking examiners to identify challenges they faced in administering the online speaking test. A focus group discussion to twenty five examiners were also conducted where they shared further about the challenges and how they dealt with the challenges. To confirm this, a questionnaire was distributed to 197 online speaking test takers. The study showed that the challenges the examiners faced were related to the poor internet connection and the technical problems from the participants' ends. These two factors caused some information delivered by the participants or examiners to be unclear or missing. This led the participants to ask the examiners to repeat some questions or vice versa. Although these challenges happened once in a while, they could interrupt the flow of the test itself and distract the focus of both examiners and participants. To deal with these two challenges, the examiners usually asked the participants to change their network or devices. There was this concern regarding the scoring of the participants' speaking performance if the troubles happened, but most examiners stated that the connection and technical problems did not really interfere with the scoring because they could identify the participants' speaking performance from their overall answers. Based on these findings, the institution could add some steps for device readiness check prior to the test to minimize the occurrence of the connection or technical problems that might inhibit the assessment.

It is noticed that Arabic speakers of English and English speaker of Arabic encounter some difficulty in the order of the adjectives especially when there are numerals. This study aims to compare and contrast the construction, behaviour and order of the different types of numeral adjectives among the other adjectives in the languages in question. In order to achieve the objectives of the study and find out answers to the questions under investigation, the study follows the prescriptive method. It examines analytically the similarities and differences in order to find out what is linguistic specific for Arabic and for English with regard to the order of numerals and other adjectives. It is hoped that the study will contribute in enriching the morpho-syntactic field and computational linguistics. Definitions, structures and current examples including numerals and other adjectives in English and in Arabic are presented and analysed structurally. The data are compared and contrasted in order to find out reasons behind the problems and difficulties that face Arabic and English speakers in the order of numeral and other adjectives. Results and recommendations will set the remedies needed for these major challenges towards the perfection of the linguistic knowledge.

Due to the widespread impact of the Covid 19 pandemic, teachers and students were driven to relocate their teaching learning practices to the safety of their own homes. The goal of this research was to learn how Saudi students felt about distance learning online during the lockout of the College of Science and Humanities at Sulail, Prince Sattam Bin Abdullah University. Multiple methods were used to complete the study. Researchers collected data from 152 degree students of Management,Computer Science, English, Islamic Studies, Arabic department to rate their satisfaction with online learning settings using a Likert scale ranging from one to five points. A mixed research strategy was chosen for the study's purposes, with descriptive analysis used for the quantitative data analysis and content analysis used for the qualitative data analysis. Although some respondents expressed enthusiasm for online distance learning, the vast majority reported difficulties with the format and stated a preference for traditional in-person classes. Some students have expressed enthusiasm for this form of distance education. The study concluded that the findings can help policymakers and professors construct effective or efficient teaching ways to overcome difficult situations or pandemics, which is a summary of the study's main points.
