Cycling conditions provide periods of respite at high oxygen which can allow for compensatory feeding and the repayment of oxygen debt [ 23 , 52 , 54 , 62 ], potentially allowing oysters to grow more quickly under cycling conditions than constant hypoxic conditions even when minimum DO concentrations to which oysters are exposed are much lower.…”
