Abstract:Graphene oxide (GO), which is an oxidised derivative of graphene, is considered to be one of the recently emerging and attractive nanomaterials for biomedical applications. It has very interesting properties, such as nanometric size, specific surface area and electrical charge. The prospects for applications are accompanied by major concerns about its biosafety for human health. However, several studies show that nanomaterials used in biomedicine have an impact on health, which has not yet been well studied fo… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
