“…The crucian carp is included in the least concern IUCN category but is regarded as disappearing in many water bodies of its range ( Freyhof and Kottelat 2008 ). The area of distribution of this species in Poland decreased during the last two decades ( Witkowski and Grabowska 2012 ).
