Abstract: The portion not soluble in benzene was dissolved in dilute acetic acid and precipitated with concentrated hpdrochlcric acid. The process was repeated till clean, white, blunt needles were obtained, m hich rrielted sharply a t 2 j63. These were dried ol-er sulphuric acid in an atmosphere containing a little hydrochloric acid gas, and then in vacuum.
