The Nigeria Police and the Search for Integrity in the Midst of Diverse Challenges: An Effective Police Management Approach

Abstract: This paper examines the challenges that threaten the integrity of the Nigeria police. Corruption, police brutality, bad discretion during investigations, stress, questionable recruitment and promotion, and poor police-community relations are identified and explained as factors that have seriously damaged the image and integrity of the Nigeria police.
