Abstract:This research seeks to review the growing literature on modern criminal evidence and the role of technological advancement in forensic science. We reviewed 114 forensic science studies based on a systematic literature review approach. The studies provide supporting evidence that technological advancement has permitted improved progress on modern criminal evidence.
