“…Future work should test whether the effects of family social capital can be generalized to older adults in a similar culture. Finally, perceived economic status and the number of diseases are found to be predictors of health or LS; therefore, perceived family economy and other chronic conditions beyond heart disease, diabetes and hypertension should be included in future analyses, as these factors might influence SRH and family LS.…”
