The importance of the insert of the thematic “violence against the woman” in the curriculum of nursing

Abstract

Many professionals of health don't know or they don't address yours he/she listens and your glance to diagnose and to take care of violence situations against the woman. That unpreparedness is consequence of a formation and professional practice stepped on in a model centered in the biomedical model, where the object of attention is not the as a whole, but, your parts, frequently, these professionals don't notice the structural bows between body and society. We looked for to bring for the curriculum of the course of the nursing a new perspective with relationship when taking care of that population, inserting the thematic Violence Against the Woman; developing her stepped on in a humanized attendance, sensitive and integral, with base in the public politics of prevention and control of the cases of violence against the woman, respecting the historical-social particularities, and using a critical methodology of the education, with emphasis in the dialogue, in the search for the personal transformation and of the reality, in the omnilaterality.
