The Impacts of Different Charge Compensators on the Luminescence Properties of BaMg<sub>2</sub> (PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub>: Eu <sup>3+</sup>

Abstract: The BaMg1.99-x(PO4)2:0.01Eu3+,xN+(N=Li, Na, K) phosphors were synthesized by high temperature solid state method. Valence stability of Eu3+was analyzed and the effects of the charge compensators (Li+, Na+ and K+ ions) upon the crystal structures and luminescence properties of BaMg1.99(PO4)2:0.01Eu3+were studied in this paper.
