“…17 Deraz prepared alumina-doped Mn/Fe oxide solids and studied their thermal behaviors and phase transformation processes. 18 Amini and co-workers synthesized aluminapolyaniline nanocomposites via a template-guided polymerization of aniline using alumina nanosheets and analyzed their conductivity and cyclic voltammetry. 19 Logar et al fabricated alumina-TiO 2 composites through an in-situ solgel reaction of TiO 2 precursor on the surface of alumina and investigated their photocatalytic activity.…”

“…This has been tentatively achieved from the height of characterized diffraction lines at 2.50 or 2.52 Å which provide a measure of the amounts of tetragonal and cubic CuFe 2 O 4 phases present in a given solid sample at a definite temperature (T). By plotting the peak height of these lines versus 1/ T, a straight line is obtained the slope of which determines DE f value by the direct application of the Arrhenius equation [17]. The computed DE f values of copper ferrite (cubic or tetragonal phases) were 150, 100 and 115 kJ mol À1 for pure mixed solids and those .…”

“…Direct reaction of the element or single binary compounds is the most widely used method for the preparation of polycrystalline ferrites [15][16][17][18]. For the reaction to proceed within a reasonable period of time, high mobility of the reactants is desirable as well as maximum contact surface between the reactive particles.…”
