Abstract: Fiber-reinforced polymer composites are a popular alternative to traditional metal alloys. However, their internally occurring damage modes call for strategies to monitor these structures. Multi-walled carbon nanotube-based polyelectrolyte thin films were manufactured using a layer-by-layer deposition methodology.
