Percepción de los riesgos en la red por los adolescentes en España: usos problemáticos y formas de control ResumenEl propósito de este estudio es analizar, desde una perspectiva cualitativa, las percepciones de los menores en torno a los riesgos que supone el uso de internet y las redes sociales en España. Se realizaron ocho focus group durante el curso académico 2010-11 en colegios públicos y concertados de diferentes institutos y colegios de diferentes ciudades de España con individuos de 12-14 años (niños) y de 15-17 (adolescentes). Entre las conclusiones se destacan que los menores no detectan los riesgos de la red frente a sus mayores; tienen una gran preocupación por su imagen ante su grupo de iguales y muestran una imperiosa necesidad de estar conectados a la red.Palabras clave: riesgos, jóvenes, adolescentes, menores, redes sociales, adicción, control parental. Perception of Risk in the Network by Adolescents in Spain: problematic uses and ways of controlThe purpose of this study is to analyze, from a qualitative perspective, perceptions of children about the risks of using the Internet and social networks in Spain. Eight focus groups were undertaken during the course 2010-11 in public and private secondary education centers as well as high schools, throughout different cities of Spain with individuals aged 12-14 (children) and 15-17 (adolescents). Los hábitos de comunicación y socialización de estos han cambiado notablemente en la red frente a formas convencionales. Sin embargo, estas nuevas formas de comunicación conllevan riesgos imperceptibles por los jóvenes mientras que para sus mayores son objeto de preocupación y alarma. Los estudios sobre esta temática han sido numerosos, con una presencia mayor de trabajos con una metodología cuantitativa, y menos copiosos desde una visión cualitativa.Este trabajo tiene como objetivo principal conocer la percepción de los menores de 12 a 17 años acerca de los potenciales riesgos y amenazas en internet y sobre las diversas formas de control existentes a este respecto. The internet is the one of the most important global network and information source in information age. The internet has changed employee's life enormously. The purpose of this study is to clarify the benefitting situations of employees from e-employee services. For this purpose, a 20-item data collection tool, based on the e-employee services put forward by the Information Council Turkey was developed. Maintained measurement tool was applied on 515 employees residing different regions and provinces of Turkey in the 2014 academic year. As a result, it was observed that employees benefitted from social, health and education oriented services of eemployee at "medium frequency", whereas they "rarely" benefitted from the economic-oriented services of e-employee. It was found that women used e-employee services more than men. 30-year of age and younger people used e-employee services more often than older people. In addition, those who have higher incomes use e-employee services more frequently than those who have medium or low incomes. Those working in education and finance sectors benefit from the eemployee services more often than those in other sectors.Keywords: E-employee; internet use; e-employee services; income; finance sector. IntroductionThe rapid developments occurring in information and communication, is increasing the use of the internet as well. Every day, the internet use is spreading everywhere, from education to finance, military to health and from the market place to entertainment industry. According to TurkStat data, internet use rate among the 19-74-age group reached to 48.9% in 2013 while it was 30% in 2007 in Turkey, a country with a population approaching 80 million. (TurkStat, 2013). This increase in a six -year period is remarkable. Considering the widespread use of mobile devices, the Internet is expected to affect the lives of people much more.The labour force participation rate In Turkey rated 50,1% with a 0,1 point increase in the December period of 2013 compared to the same period of the previous year. The labour force participation rate was 70.9 % in men and 29.9 % in women. While the distribution of the people who were employed in 2004 was 29.1% in agriculture, 20.0 % in industry, 4.9 % in construction and 46.0 % in service sector, this ratio fell nearly 6 points for agriculture whereas it increased 4 point for the service sector by the end of 2013. This rate for those who graduated from higher education institutions is 79.3%, for vocational high school graduates is 62.9 % , for high school graduates 51.6 %, for less than high school graduates is 47.4% and it was 18.7% for Illiterate types. 65.5% of workers were regular or casual employee, 4.4% employer; 18.7% Self-employed and 11.4% were the unpaid family workers. Objectives: The present study examined excessive internet use of youths with moderate Cerebral Palsy (CP) and their psychological states in Sensation Seeking (SS). Methods:This study followed descriptive and correlation research design. Individuals aged 15 to 25 years with CP who were referred to Tehran rehabilitation centers were considered in the study. The study sample (n=150) was randomly divided into two groups of internet dependents (n=75; boys=45 and girls=30) and non-dependents (n=75; boys=45 and girls=30). Internet Addiction Test and Sensation Seeking Scale have been used for data gathering. Data were analyzed by using Pearson correlation coefficients, multivariable regression, x 2 and T tests. Results:Compared to non-dependents, the internet dependent group reported significantly more negative internet influences on daily routines such as clinical problems, poor school performance, regular nutrition, and relation with friends and family members. Both the groups pointed that internet use enhanced virtual peer relationships and provided up-to-date information. Internet dependents (both gender) scored significantly higher on disinhibition sensation seeking subscale than the internet non-dependents. However, these two groups (both gender) did not demonstrate significant differences in life experience seeking and thrill and adventure seeking subscales, but their differences were sizable.Discussion: It seems that internet applications direct or indirectly motive users to be online for more hours than necessary. This is true for CP patients given their motor impairment. Based on this research result, it seems that persons with CP because of lack of physical activities, motive by internal stimulus and seeking their sensation from external stimulus like internet application as well as for person with CP surfing in internet world and spent too much time on the internet is leisure time not activity time.
