Abstract:Introduction: Autogenous radio-cephalic arteriovenous fistula (RCAVF) is preferred for chronic hemodialysis access. However, RCAVF still suffers from disappointing survival due to fistula dysfunction, with intimal hyperplasia (IH) as an underlying cause of this condition.
