Abstract:Fournier's gangrene is a life‐threatening condition and, although rare, should be considered in anyone with painful swelling of the scrotum or perineum with features of sepsis. In this article the author discusses risk factors, diagnosis and management of Fournier's gangrene and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.
