The dehydration performance and sorption behavior of PVA/silica hybrid pervaporative membrane

Abstract: A polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/SiO2 organic-inorganic hybrid membrane was fabricated, using PVA as the basic material, SiO2 nanoparticles as the inorganic material, γ-(2,3)-glycidoxy propyl trimethoxysilane (GPTMS) and 3-aminopropyl triethoxysilane (APTEOS) as the second modified agents.
