“…The display of transgenerational trauma in U.S.‐born Latino youth creates a responsibility among mental health clinicians to explore an additional layer of the mental health of these clients. Goodman and West‐Olatunji () have identified two helpful instruments for assessing transgenerational trauma, the Multidimensional Trauma Recovery and Resiliency Scale and the color‐coded timeline trauma genogram (Harvey et al, ; Jordan, ). A modified version of the PTSD Symptoms Scale–Self‐Report developed by Boney‐McCoy and Finkelhor () features reworded items that are non‐trauma‐specific and can be helpful in identifying Hispanic youth who are experiencing trauma symptoms.…”

(10,16) Murray Bowen'in 1978 yılında aile sistemleri teorisini geliştirmesinin ardından McGoldrick ve Gerson genogramın yapılanması ve yorumlanmasının standardizasyonunda ilk kapsamlı çalışmayı Bowen'in çalışması esas alınarak formüle etmişlerdir.

Having this in mind can facilitate prevention, early diagnosis and adjust the advice to the stage of individual or family development in which the patient or family is located [41][42][43][44]. Figure 5 shows an example of an outbreak of conjunctivitis in a family [41].…”
