“…The Bacillus cereus group is composed of rod-shaped, spore-forming, aerobic or facultative anaerobic species [9], among which the most noticeable members are species from B. cereus sensu stricto (usually referred to as B. cereus), B. mycoides, B. pseudomycoides, B. weihenstephanensis, B. anthracis, B. thuringiensis, B. cytotoxicus and B. toyonensis.
