Template Synthesis for Stimuli-Responsive Angle Independent Structural Colored Smart Materials

Abstract: Like other conventional smart materials, structural color showing smart materials inherit physical and chemical characteristics imposed by the templates. Smart Material such as structural colored gel made of photonic crystal (PC) as template, exhibits angle dependent structural color because the color arises from the Bragg optical diffraction of light from crystal planes. But angle independent or low angle dependent structural color is required for devising of display with a wide viewing angle. To meet this pu… Show more

“…Gene silencing has also been done successfully with polysaccharides like dextran and HA, and nanogels. Designing nanogels that can be disrupted by extracellular stimuli like light, ultrasound, temperature, or biological pH changes leads to fast disintegration and/or swelling [12,77,78,[93][94][95][96][97][98][99][100][101][102][103][104].…”

“…In addition to the move toward globalization, safety, protection and longer shelf life are necessary, along with monitoring safety and quality based on global standards. Gradually, the conventional materials have been replaced by smart nanomaterials such as nanocomposite gels [1][2][3], polymer nanocomposite [4][5][6], structural colored nanomaterials [7][8][9], molecular machines [10], nanomaterial based biosensors [11], and so on.…”

“…The automobile sector ceaselessly works on passenger safety and comfort, smart traffic guidance systems, pollution reduction, animal and human health safety, eco-friendliness, and eventually successful recycling processes. Day by day, the conventional materials have been replaced by the smart nanomaterials such as nanocomposite gels [1][2][3], nanocomposite polymer films [4][5][6], structural colored nanomaterials [7][8][9], molecular machines [10], nanomaterial based biosensors [11], and so on. Considering all these factors, the utilization of nanomaterials is an effective and prospective scientific strategy that put forward the technologies to design and develop lighter, smaller, safer, economical, durable, faster, and intelligent devices through the consumption of less amount of raw materials and optimum energy.…”
