Telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT)-expressing cells mark a novel stem cell population in the adult mouse brain

Abstract: Telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) is expressed by quiescent adult stem cells (ASC) in numerous adult murine and human tissues, but has never been explored in the adult brain.
