Task-based paradigm for the design of office occupant-building interactions

Abstract

This research is for my grandparents, George and Darlene Schmitt, who have supported me throughout my entire career. From making sure I picked up every last rock in a field to critiquing every play during my sports career; their dedication did not go unnoticed. The biggest thank you would never be enough. I would not be where I am and who I am today without you.Additionally, this research is for my dogs, Anubis, Horus, and Osiris, who kept me company while I wrote and made sure I never missed dinner.
