“…A higher concentration of estrogen and progesterone receptors in male breast cancer may make it more susceptible to hormonal treatment. Regression of choroidal metastases in male breast cancer has been reported with systemic chemotherapy (18), as well as with hormonal therapy alone (11,19). If choroidal metastases are unresponsive to systemic therapy, as in all cases reported here, radiotherapy is the treatment of choice for palliation of ocular symptoms.…”
