“…For the CR molecules which can be physically adsorbed on the plasmonic metals, the adsorption can be described by the Freundlich model. When the concentration is high enough, the multilayer adsorption would occur via electrostatic interaction. , Obviously, the molecular adsorption in the second layer would hardly induce the CID due to noncontact with GNRs, and hence not decrease the enhancement factor.
