Synthesis and characterization of new soluble aromatic polyimides from diaminotetraphenylimidazolinone and aromatic tetracarboxylic dianhydrides

Abstract: A series of new soluble aromatic polyimides with inherent viscosities of 0.65-1.12 dL/g were synthesized from 1,3-bis(4-aminophenyl)-4,5-diphenylimidazolin-2-one and various aromatic tetracarboxylic dianhydrides by the conventional twostep procedure that included ring-opening polyaddition and subsequent thermal cyclodehydration. Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD.
