Synaptotagmin I is necessary for compensatory synaptic vesicle endocytosis in vivo

Abstract: Neurotransmission requires a balance of synaptic vesicle exocytosis and endocytosis. Synaptotagmin I (Syt I) is widely regarded as the primary calcium sensor for synaptic vesicle exocytosis.
