Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to describe the symbol language in learning mathematics in school. To communicate a concept especially in the learning of mathematics required a symbol that is the language of symbols. Symbols are images, shapes, or objects that represent an idea or number of things. Without the meaning attached to it, the symbols on mathematics become meaningless, and dry to meaning.
