“…Probablemente, el prolongado tiempo desde el destete de VM hasta la evaluación clínica, permitió a los pacientes recuperar al menos parcialmente esta función. El porcentaje de pacientes con disfunción moderada de la deglución en nuestro estudio es similar al publicado por Romero et al, 23 , pero a diferencia de ese estudio, la función deglutoria no alcanzó significación estadística en nuestro estudio multivariable en el subgrupo de pacientes no neurológicos.
