Gentle positive pressure ventilation should be provided for babies who remain apnoeic or bradycardic, and there is no apparent advantage of a sustained inflation over intermittent positive pressure breaths [45]. The Sustained Aeration of Infant's Lungs trial has been launched and will hopefully more fully resolve this issue.…”
