Abstract: Platelet concentrates were prepared in plastic packs of polyvinyl chloride with tri-(2-ethylhexyl) trimellitate as plasticizer. They were stored, with gentle shaking, at room temperature for periods up to 7 days before labelling with isotope and reinfusing.
