Abstract: We collected 89 fruit samples (4,930 fruits, 111.5 kg) from 28 plant species belonging to 17 families. Larval infestation occurred in 29 fruit samples belonging to 11 plant species from eight families. We also used McPhail traps baited with Ceratrap®, in five municipalities. Five species of fruit flies (Anastrepha spp. and Ceratitis capitata), three species of lance flies (Neosilba spp.), nine of host plants, and associated parasitoids (1 species) were recorded for the first time in the state of Sergipe.
