Surface Properties and Drug Release Behavior of Polycaprolactone Polyether Blend and Copolymer

Abstract: The surface properties of polycaprolactone (PCL)–poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) block copolymer (PCE) and blend (B‐PCE) of PCL and PEG obviously affect the drug release behavior of the polymer. In this paper, both surface properties of PCE and B‐PCE are studied and compared by measuring their water sorption and using the contact angle and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy technique. Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD.
