Surface modification of polytetrafluoroethylene filmsvia graft copolymerization for auto-adhesion
Abstract: The surfaces of Ar plasma‐pretreated polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) films are further functionalized via UV‐induced graft copolymerization with amphoteric N,N′‐dimethyl(methacryloylethyl)ammonium propansulfonate (DMAPS) either in Ar atmosphere, or under atmospheric conditions and in the absence of a polymerization initiator. The so‐modified PTFE films from either process are capable of exhibiting adhesive‐free adhesion or auto‐adhesion with one another when brought into intimate contact in the presence of a sm…

“…However, the performances of Bi 3 NbO 7 in the photocatalytic reactions are still unsatisfactory. Polyaniline (PANI) is known as a good conductive polymer [20]. Furthermore, it is also regarded as an efficient photogenerated holes-transporting material, which can facilitate the separation of photo-generated electron-hole pairs and can promote interfacial electron transfer process [21].…”

“…The better solubility of these copolymers in CF 3 COOH is the possible reason for such bathochromic shift, which allows the detection of absorption signals of copolymers with bigger molecular weight. On the other hand, the polaron / bipolaron effect might be formed in CF 3 COOH doped copolymers, as was reported previously for the pernigraniline-type oligomers [27].…”

“…Among conducting polymer, polyaniline (PANI) has been intensively studied in the last decades for its high conductivity, adjustable electrical properties controlled by oxidation and protonation states, promising applications in electronic and optical devices [2,3]. In recent years, more and more studies have been endeavored to explore micro/nanostructures of PANI because of their unusual properties and potential applications [4][5][6].…”
