Sulfamethoxazole Levels in HIV-Exposed Uninfected Ugandan Children

Abstract: Abstract.Trimethoprim–sulfamethoxazole (TMP–SMX) prophylaxis in HIV-uninfected, exposed (HUE) children variably reduces clinical malaria burden despite antifolate resistance, but data regarding achieved serum levels and adherence are lacking.
