Abstract: Purpose: Demonstrate feasibility of PET/CT to detect three‐dimensional neutron‐induced activation patterns in solid phantoms distal to regions of dose delivery from clinical proton beams. Methods: Slabs of polystyrene phantom material of 10 cm total thickness were placed behind a stack of solid water.
