Abstract: This paper introduces a systematic problem, which investigates the power management for the range-extended electric bus using dynamic programming. The Chinese typical city bus driving cycle and the bus driving cycle of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, China are expressed as the driving cycles in the DP process.
