Studies on the metabolism of diltiazem in man.

Abstract: The human urinary metabolites of diltiazem were analyzed by thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Diltiazem was metabolized by deacetylation, N-demethylation, O-demethylation and conjugation.
