Abstract:In this study SAE 1020 steel plates were exposed to different atmospheric environments -a rural zone, an industrial area and an urban neighborhood of the same city in the south of Brazil. After exposure intervals of 60 and 120 days, samples were collected in the form of dust from the plates' surface.
