Status Sosial Ekonomi Dan Konsumsi Buah Dan Sayur Anak Usia 6-10 Tahun Di Tpa Babul Jannah Nabire

Abstract

Lack of consumption of fruit and vegetable can cause the body to lack nutrition and the emergence of various diseases. This study is a quantitative study with the aim of knowing the relationship between socioeconomic factors and fruit and vegetable consumption in children aged 6-10 years at TPA Babul Jannah Nabire. The design of this research was cross sectional with purposive sampling (n=44). Data were collected through interviews with structured questionnaires in May-July 2021. The results of the Chi Square test showed that the nutritional knowledge and parental education were significantly positively related to fruit and vegetable consumption in children aged 0-6 years with p-values of 0,05 each. And 0,004. Parental income is not related to fruit and vegetable consumption of children aged 0-6 years (p-value=0,157). Increasing parental nutrition knowledge can help achieve the fulfillment of fruit and vegetable consumption in children according to recommendations.
