Stationary distribution of mobile ions in a dielectric with regard to their elastic interaction with the medium

Abstract

The effect of an elastic concentration field on the behavior of mobile ions in a dielectric is considered. Analytical expressions for the stationary distributions of the ion concentrations, electric field strength, and potential in a dielectric are obtained in the linear approximation for the case of strong elastic concentration fields. The theoretical distributions of mobile charged particles are in a good agreement with the known experimental distributions of sodium ions in silicon dioxide. l) 103498 Moscow, USSR.
