Static and Dynamic Analysis of Piezoelectric Laminated Composite Beams and Plates

Abstract: In this chapter, the mechanical behavior analysis of piezoelectric laminated composite beams and plates is influenced subjected to static, dynamic, and aerodynamic loads. Algorithm for dynamic, stability problem analysis and vibration control of laminated composite beams and plates with piezoelectric layers is presented. In addition, numerical calculations, considering the effect of factors on static, dynamic, and stability response of piezoelectric laminated composite beams and plates are also clearly present… Show more

“…The structure of a SFG-CNTRC and load subjected to the plate In all distributions, the law of uniform distribution (UD) is the uniform distribution of CNTs in the cross-section of the plate, while the law of asymmetrical distribution (FG-V) or symmetrical distributions (FG-O, FG-X) is the dependence of the density of CNTs on the plate thickness variable. Accordingly, the mathematical model of the distribution of CNTs along the thickness direction of the plate is as follows [15], [16], [17], [21], [23]: In all distributions, the law of uniform distribution (UD) is the uniform distribution of CNTs in the cross-section of the plate, while the law of asymmetrical distribution (FG-V) or symmetrical distributions (FG-O, FG-X) is the dependence of the density of CNTs on the plate thickness variable. “…This subsection is devoted to study static response of the cracked beam subjected to static force F and bending moments (18) by the well-known finite element method (FEM) [16][17][18]. The aim of this study is to verify the fact that multiple cracked beam could be repaired by applying bending moments (18) instead of using piezoelectric patches.…”
