Abstract: All-inorganic metal-halide perovskites CsPbX 3 (X = Cl, Br, I) exhibit higher stability than their organic-inorganic hybrid counterparts, but the thermodynamically instable perovskite α phase at room temperature of CsPbI 3 restricts the practical optoelectronic applications.
