Abstract: The stability of 1,4-dioxane, tetrahydrojurun und ethanol under hydrogenation conditions was investigated over six dgerent catalysts. The reactions occurring in a $.xed-bed reactor in the temperature runge between 150 and 350°C were characterized by chemical analysis of the reactor ej'luent streum und by measurement of the temperature-time profiles within the catalyst bed.
