Spontaneous Rupture of the Renal Collecting System During Pregnancy: Successful Management with a Temporary Ureteral Catheter

Abstract: Spontaneous rupture of the kidney or collecting system during pregnancy is an unusual condition. We report the sixteenth such case and, to our knowledge, the first case managed successfully with temporary insertion of a ureteral catheter. Based on our experience in this case, we recommend a modified approach to therapy for this condition.
